Released in 2013 we liked the blend to begin
with but decided to age some boxes in our
Vintage Room and see how they would be
once they mellowed out a bit. We cracked a
box of each size and tested them out in
March of 2016 and they smoked really well.
The bands have become a little loose which I
always look for in a properly aged cigar.
Very smooth at the beginning with a little
cedar finish and then some spice on the
retrohale. Opens up nicely and has a little
sweet creaminess to it that fits nicely with the
spice. Very nice draw as you would expect
from E.P. Carrillo and a solid construction
that has held up nicely in the aging process.
We have a limited supply of these Short Runs
so if you’re a Carrillo fan or just a mild to
medium bodied smoker give these a try, I
think you’ll be pleased.
